失敗是盲目的看不見世事的規律，身在規律中卻不知；
失敗是反規律而行事，與世界作對；
失敗是走在規律大後方，錯失良機；
失敗是走在規律大前方，不為世間所容；
失敗是走在規律中央，趕不及前方，又遭後方踐踏；
失敗是走在規律旁邊，機會擦身而過；
失敗是強行改變規律，最後卻遭規律改變；
失敗是不依規律而行，最後也慘遭規律沒頂。
世上真的有規律嗎？

一山還有一山高，失敗會否在比較下出現? 兩個性質相同、在舉行期間分別被與會者評為"很成功"的events,相比之下，其中一個顯得十分差劣，那又算是失敗嗎?

要回答你的問題，就要先定義失敗。
如果成功是得到你想得到的，那麼失敗就可以是得不到你想得到的。
在比較之下，如果你仍然的到你想得到的，當然那不是失敗；舉例來說，比小弟出色的Trainer實在多如恆河星數，但小弟仍然從作為Trainer中得到我想得到的東西，我很肯定地認為自己絕對沒有失敗！

As a frame of reference, there is no such word of Fail in my dictionary. It is only a matter of Learning, Trying, Improvement and it goes in cycle. Afterall, did we not all fall and get up and try walking again when we are at infancy. Since when, we become so ego to think that we win all. It will make life easier to live with.

Can we prevent "Failures"? Yes, and we must admit the existence of it first. We can prevent anything that doesn't exist at all.
One way to prevent "Failure" is to study it, understand it and to master it.
Again, I agree 110%.
I have a different dictionary. (Everybody sees things differently)I do include "Failure" in my dictionary, i.e.
Failure: Feedback.
Failure: Not equals to Defeated.
Failure: Opportunity to learn.
Failure: A feeling of hurt, but it never actually hurts.
