Thanks for the splendid lesson!
I self-studied some books a few years ago and learned the Speed Reading. My start rate was about 350w/m today and improved almost 100% towards the end of the lesson (estimated understanding of the words around 80%).
Although the hourly rate of the tuition sounded a bit higher than the other courses by you (compared with facilitator training 20+ hrs for $4000), it's worth the money coz' in reality most of the people do not have the discipline to learn it by themselves.
At the end of the day, it's the result which counts, not how long of the course. To me, the shorter the course, the more focused I can stay during the lesson. My next challenge is to apply the learning on different types of books.

我曾自行修讀過一些有關速讀的書藉，今天課程開始的時候，我的速度是每分鐘350字，課程結束時，竟進步了100%，而理解率亦達80%。
雖然學費如以每小時來計算，看似昂貴，但是絕對值得的，因為現實世界中，大部份人都沒有足夠的紀律自行學習速讀。
最終的是看有多少效果，而非課程時間長短；在我來說，越短我則能越集中，我的下一項挑戰就是把學到的方法嘗試於不同種類的書藉中，謝謝。
